About us
Crypton Tech has been automating businesses since 2007, from Erode, Tamil Nadu, and more recently Amsterdam. Today that means AI-native, cloud-native systems that run the routine end to end.
We started in 2007, writing software for businesses around us long before "digital transformation" was a phrase anyone used. The shops, hospitals and colleges we worked with didn't want technology; they wanted shorter queues, cleaner accounts and evenings at home. That's still the brief.
Eighteen years later we're deliberately still small. A senior team of engineers, no layers of account managers, and a client list built almost entirely on referrals. The engineer you speak to in the first call is the one who writes your code, and probably the one who answers the phone three years later.
The tools changed more in the last few years than in the previous fifteen. Software used to record the work; now it can read the documents, forecast the stock and draft the reports itself. We rebuilt how we design systems around that (AI in the core, cloud-native underneath so it's always on) without changing the brief.
Along the way our work spread from Tamil Nadu across India, and then to Europe, which is how we ended up with a second home in Amsterdam. The two offices share one codebase culture: build it properly, keep it running, stay reachable.
AI-native
A lot of software now has an AI button on the side. AI-native is the opposite: the intelligence sits inside the workflow. The invoice is read as it arrives, the reorder is suggested as stock moves, the report drafts itself as the day closes. Nobody "uses the AI"; the work simply takes less of everyone's day.
It comes with old-fashioned rules attached. We design for a person's sign-off on anything that matters. We keep your data yours and don't use it to build products for anyone else. And we only ship what we can prove, the same standard we've held since 2007.
The best compliment our software gets is silence. Systems that just run, month after month, are the whole point.
We'd rather lose a project than promise a timeline we don't believe. This has cost us work. It has never cost us a client.
Patient records and payment data deserve better than security added as an afterthought. We build it in from the first table we design.
If we can't explain a technical choice to a shop owner in two sentences, we don't understand it well enough ourselves.
Careers
Small team, senior colleagues, real problems for real businesses: POS floors at rush hour, AI that has to be right, code you'll still be proud of next year. No ad-tech, no dark patterns.
