Case stories

Work we're quietly proud of

We don't name clients on the website; many prefer it that way. These are real systems running real businesses every day, told the way we'd tell them over coffee, including the parts that were messy.

01

Hospitality · POS platform

Staff learn it in one shift. That was the design bar, and it held.

POS tablet with QR ordering and kitchen display

A POS platform that runs dinner service across the Netherlands

The brief

European hospitality runs on POS systems that are expensive, locked-in and stressful to learn. The goal: a platform a café owner could set up in minutes and new staff could learn in a single shift, without a trainer flying in.

What we built

The whole platform, end to end: a fast native POS for iPads and touchscreens, QR ordering so guests order from their table, kitchen and bar display screens that replace paper tickets, self-service kiosks, and a dashboard that shows revenue by hour, product and staff member. Nobody retypes anything: the guest's order is captured once and flows to the kitchen, the bill and the books on its own. The full loop, automated. A restaurant floor at 8pm on a Saturday is an unforgiving place for software, so everything is built to keep taking orders through network wobbles and rush-hour load.

Where it stands

The platform now runs daily service in restaurants, cafés, bakeries and event venues across the Netherlands, from single-location independents to multi-site chains. Staff really do learn it in one shift; that was the design bar, and it held.

02

Healthcare · Clinic management

Patient lookup went from minutes of register-flipping to seconds.

Patient record with heartbeat chart, appointments and pharmacy

A hospital where the front desk knew everything, and that was the problem

Where they started

A mid-sized hospital where patient files, appointments and pharmacy stock lived in registers, and one experienced front-desk staffer carried half the operation in her head. When she was on leave, waiting times doubled.

What we built

One patient record connecting outpatient visits, pharmacy and lab reports, with roles built in from the start: reception sees schedules and billing, doctors see clinical history, and nobody sees more than their job needs. We spent the first two weeks just sitting in the lobby watching how patients actually moved through the building. The software follows that flow, not an org chart.

What changed

Patient lookup went from minutes of register-flipping to a few seconds. Pharmacy stock-outs of common medicines stopped being a weekly event. And leave stopped being an operational crisis. One record, one loop: reception, pharmacy and lab feeding each other instead of five registers feeding a whiteboard.

03

Education · Fees & administration

Reconciliation dropped from weeks to a day.

Fee receipt with graduation cap and school bell

Fee season without the queue outside the office

Where they started

An educational institution where every term began with parents queueing to pay fees in cash, clerks writing receipts by hand, and the accounts team reconciling it all for weeks afterwards.

What we built

Online fee payment tied to each student's record, with automatic receipts and reminders that go out politely before due dates instead of urgently after. Attendance and results moved into the same system, so the office answers one question ("how is my child doing?") from one screen.

What changed

Most fees now arrive online before the due date. The start-of-term queue is gone, and reconciliation dropped from weeks to a day. The clerks did not miss the handwriting.

The common thread

The pattern behind every story

Different industries, same loop. Capture the event once: an order, a patient, a payment. Let the software process it, decide what follows, notify the right person and report the result. In the POS platform the loop runs from a guest's phone to the kitchen screen to the owner's live revenue. In the hospital it runs from reception to pharmacy to the ward. In the school it runs from the fee reminder to the receipt to reconciliation. Our AI work extends the same loop (reading the documents, forecasting the stock, drafting the reports) one proven step at a time.
